A few months ago, Philip Ellis set up a local business breakfast networking event because we believe that local community is hugely important and, where possible, local businesses should support each other. With this in mind, we have continued to host the business breakfast monthly, where you can meet like-minded local business owners and discover what a great place Prestwich and Whitefield are to live and work.

All proceeds from the event go to Hits Radio Cash for Kids campaign which provides a helping hand to disabled and disadvantaged children across Greater Manchester. Cash for Kids responds to the needs of children in our communities so they can live life to the full and realise their individual potential.

Based across 22 areas in the UK, at the heart of your favourite radio stations, they support children aged 0-18 who are disabled, disadvantaged or suffering from abuse or neglect. Every year they raise millions of pounds for local children and young people who are suffering from abuse or neglect, who are disabled and have special needs or who simply need extra care or guidance.

In 2018 Cash for Kids raised over £21.4 million, supporting more than 1 million children!

They participate in a huge variety of fundraising events both on and off air and by encouraging individuals, groups, schools and companies to jump on board, join in the fun and offer a helping hand to disadvantaged children in their own community.

Our next Business Breakfast will be held on Thursday 7th March 2019 at Manchester Maccabi, Bury Old Road, Manchester, M25 0EG starting at 8.00am lasting for around 90 minutes.

We are sure it’ll be another fantastic and rewarding event allowing us all to build strong relationships with other local businesses. Tea & Coffee is included as well as Breakfast.
